The purpose of this scheme was to update the existing cattle shed and install new animal handling equipment and also upgrade the existing dirty water systems to ensure compliance with environmental waste regulations

The works involved:

  • Installation of new 80,000 litre dirty water tank with pumping main
  • Installation of new precast concrete settlement tank
  • Directional drilling of a new rising main 200m in length
  • Construction of new stormwater and dirty water drainage
  • Construction of new reinforced concrete pavements and plinth walls
  • Structural steelwork to the existing cattle shed
  • Installation of new precast concrete wall panels
  • Installation of new animal handling equipment
  • Installation of a new water service
  • Fixing of new timber cladding, fascia and aluminium guttering
